The Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Education Integration Innovation Platform and Graduate Joint Training Base of Guizhou University were completed and put into use in September 2023. The total investment is 125 million yuan, including the construction of a training and research comprehensive building with a total construction area of 11000 square meters and four innovative research platforms. In terms of scientific research project approval, experienced teachers are organized to provide guidance to young teachers, and meetings are held specifically to discuss project application forms, in order to improve the approval of scientific research projects in subject areas. In 2023, representative projects such as the National Key R&D Program and the General Project of the National Science and Technology Commission achieved zero breakthroughs in discipline projects. Complete the 2023 key talent doubling plan, introducing 8 high-level talents within the year, including 2 in positions B and 2 in positions C. It is recommended that Professor Zhang Li of the college participate in the evaluation of Young Chief national level talents; Complete the postdoctoral entrance examination for 4 people. Support teachers in need to participate in international and domestic academic conferences and teaching related conferences; Convened an academic conference, hosted the Astronomical Informatics and Virtual Observatory 2023 Academic Annual Conference in the second half of 2023, jointly hosted the 2023 IEEE 6th International Conference on Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence (PRAI 2023), and supported the hosting of the Radio Astronomy Frontiers and Technology Seminar. By conducting or sponsoring teacher training and academic exchange activities, we provide learning opportunities for teachers, broaden their horizons, and thereby improve their teaching and research abilities.
